The short version: your photographs never leave your device, there is no account to make, and there is no form on this site to give us an email address. The site does measure its traffic with Google Analytics, and it will carry Google ads once it is approved for them. Both are named below.
This site is written guides, a template catalogue and one tool that runs inside your browser. There is no login, no account and no upload endpoint anywhere on it, which removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain. What is left is two services run by Google: analytics, which is on every page today, and advertising, which will serve here once the site is approved for it. Both are named and described below rather than buried.
On your device. There is no endpoint here that can receive an image.
The before and after slider tool reads the two files you choose using your browser's own file reader, draws them into a canvas on your device, and hands the result back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted. There is no server behind this website capable of receiving an image, so there is nowhere for a photograph to go even if we wanted it.
You can check that claim yourself rather than take it: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and every part of the tool still works. Nothing about the images you pick is measured, counted or reported either, because the tool never tells the page anything about them.
Ourselves, directly, nothing. We run no server that this site talks to, so there is no log here with your name on it and no database with anything of yours in it.
What the site does carry is Google Analytics, on every page, and it collects traffic data on our behalf. That is the next chapter, in detail. The chapter after it covers advertising.
There is no email list. There is no form anywhere on this site that an email address can be submitted to, so no address has been collected here. If that changes, joining will store the address you give us to send you what you asked for and nothing else, one click will unsubscribe you and delete it, and this page will say so before any form appears.

Every page on this site loads Google Analytics 4. It records which page you opened, which page or search sent you to it, how long you stayed, which pages you moved on to, your device type, browser and language, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address, which in practice means a country and sometimes a city. It sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement id, so a second visit can be told from a first one. Those cookies are set on this domain and the data goes to Google.
We read it in aggregate and use it for one thing: deciding which guides and which trades deserve expanding. We do not sell it, we do not build advertising audiences from it, and we have no way to connect it to a name, because we never ask you for one.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add on that switches Analytics off everywhere: the Google Analytics opt out. Blocking cookies or using a tracker blocking extension has the same effect here, and nothing on this site stops working when you do. Google's own account of what it does with the data is in the Google privacy policy.
Applied for, not yet serving. No ad unit appears on any page today.
This site is applying to Google AdSense, and it intends to carry ads. Being straight about the state of that: the AdSense script is already loaded in the head of every page, because Google will not review a site whose code its crawler cannot find. That script on its own displays nothing. There is no ad unit on any page, no space reserved for one, and nothing you see here has been paid for.
When ads are switched on, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or read device identifiers in your browser in order to choose which ads to show you, to limit how often you see the same one, and to measure whether an ad worked. In some regions you will be asked to consent before that happens. What Google does with ad data, and the controls you have over it, are set out in Google's advertising technologies policy, and personalisation can be turned off at My Ad Center.
One thing ads will never touch. The two photographs you load into the slider are handled by JavaScript on the page you are standing on and are never sent anywhere, so there is nothing for an advertiser to receive. An ad on a page about pressure washing knows it is on a page about pressure washing. It does not know what you photographed.
The Before and After Video Maker iPhone app has its own privacy policy, covering how photographs are processed on your phone and how the advertising SDK behind the free tier's rewarded adverts behaves. It is linked from the App Store listing and published at momentumlab.ai/privacy. Anything you do inside the app is governed by that policy rather than by this page.
