Two photos in, a transformation video out

Before and after slider maker

Two photographs, one draggable divider, and a download. It runs entirely inside this page, so nothing you pick is uploaded, stored or seen by us.

No sign-up · No watermark · No upload · Works offline once loaded

Nothing is uploaded. Both photographs stay on this device.

How we can promise that: this page is a static file. There is no account system, no database and no upload endpoint anywhere on this website, so there is nowhere for a photograph to go even if we wanted it. Your browser reads the files, draws them into a canvas, and hands the result back to you. Turn your connection off after the page has loaded and every part of this still works.

What this does, and what the app does

A slider on a web page is a still image with a divider on it. That is genuinely all most people need, and it is why this tool has no sign-up and no watermark. What a browser cannot sensibly do is encode a 1080p vertical MP4 with an eased reveal and background music on a phone in a few seconds, which is the job the iPhone app exists for.

The honest split:

If the pair you just dropped in does not line up, that is worth fixing before you post it. The guide to why before and afters look fake lists the tells, and how to take matching photographs is the method. When you want the moving version, the template catalogue shows every frame the app can put around it.

Common questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. This page is a static file with no server behind it. Your photographs are read by your own browser, drawn into a canvas on your own device, and never sent anywhere. You can prove it by opening your browser network tools, or by turning your connection off after the page loads: everything still works.
Is there a watermark?
No. The image this tool gives you carries no watermark and no branding. The iPhone app watermarks its free exports; this browser tool does not, because it is a different thing.
Do I need an account?
No account, no email address, no sign-up. Pick two photographs and drag.
Can it make a video?
Not here. This tool gives you a still image of the split. A moving reveal, an MP4 for Reels or TikTok, a looping GIF and background music are what the iPhone app is for.
Can I compare two video clips?
No. Two still photographs is the input, both here and in the app. There is no clip comparison and no timeline.
What file sizes work?
Anything your browser can decode, which in practice means JPEG, PNG, WebP and usually HEIC on an Apple device. Very large files are scaled down for the preview; the download is rendered at up to 2000 pixels on the long side.

Ready to make it move?

The app turns the same pair into a video, a GIF or a branded still, with 100 templates and a camera that lines the second shot up against the first.
